Projects


Hospice Chipata Zambia, design for a self sustainable, expandable hospice. In collaboration with DWA Installation en energy consultants and BKVV Architects (start building 2011).

2011

City Farm II, research into the combination of care homes and a productive landscape. In collaboration with BKVV Architects en Cell Studio Architects.


Ramses Park, design for the Ramses Square in Cairo. In collaboration with MAISSA Architectures (Gabon) and BKVV (NL).

2009

City Farm, design for a group of dwellings combined with possible daytime activity for clients with a double disability. In collaboration with BKVV Architects en Cell Studio Architects (under development, start building planned for 2012).

2009

7 Villa's, design for a free standing single family house, as a part of a development of 7 unique villa's in Homeruskwartier, Almere designed by 7 architects. (completed 2010).

2008

Huis voor Kees, research project for housing for people with autistm, in collaboration with the Dutch association for autism (NVA) Team: Joke Visser, Monique Nolte, Erno Langenberg, Isabel Cordeiro

2007

Huis Loo, renovation and extension of a dwelling in Tilburg.

2006

Aldabra, design proposal for the 'Aldabra Research Station' in Aldabra, Seychelles. commissioned by Studio Anthon Beeke.

2006

The projects before 2005 are a result of the collaboration with Joris Hekkenberg under the name Ai-Architecture.


MOBEX, design for a mobile art pavilion in Hendrik-Ido-Ambacht (completed 2005).

Buitenbureau, design installation in the park for the exhibition 'PROTOPARK II' in the Siegerpark in Amsterdam.

2004

Consumptie verplicht!, installation for the art and architecture manifestation 'BUBBEL, leisure under control' in Groningen organized by the Platform GRAS and AX710.

Wat maakt een boerderij?, second prize in the competition 'Een boerderijenfamilie in de Overdiepse polder'. In collaboration with Hekkenbergarchitects.

E-Vlot, honourable mention in the competition "Duurzaam Drijvend Bouwen". In collaboration with UMAA.

2010

Self.urb, winner in the '20+10+X World Architecture Community Awards'.

2009

Cc:JCDecaux, honourable mention in the competition for 3 pavilions on the Pastoor Joorenplein in Bergen op Zoom, organized by the BNA West Brabant and the city of Bergen op Zoom.

2008

Self.urb, finalist in de '2nd Advanced Architecture Contest' organized by the IAAC (Institute for Advanced Architecture Catalonia).

2007

Collectives, honourable mention in the idea competition 'Wonen op niveau' for single family dwellings in Enschede. Organized by 'projectbureau Wederopbouw Roombeek' and Architectuur Lokaal.

2004

Pioniers, second prize in the competition 'Bouwfonds prijsvraag 'Het aanzien van Nederland III, Mix to the Max, ontwerpen aan de complete stad', organized by The Netherlands Institute for Planning and Housing (NIROV) and Bouwfonds.

20-20 Vision Travels, third prize in the international competition 'Future Vision Leisure', organized by the Architecturforum Oberosterreich, Linz, Austria.
